About Body Focus LLC

Meet Our Physical Therapist, Dr. Bridget Myers, DPT
More than one out of four older people falls each year, but less than half tell their doctor. Falling once doubles your chances of falling again.
At Body Focus LLC, we are committed to improving the well-being of older adults by focusing on personalized in-home care that reduces fall risk and promotes long-term health and independence. We specialize in balance training, strength exercises, and mobility strategies. We provide customized and in-home individualized care.
Posture and strength play a crucial role in healthy aging. For older adults, improving posture and building strength can create a better, safer lifestyle.
-
Fall prevention: Balance and walking can be improved with training
-
Stronger muscles and better alignment improve balance and stability.
-
Pain reduction: Good posture eases strain on joints, the spine, and muscles, reducing back, neck, and shoulder pain.
-
Mobility and independence: Strength and proper posture make it easier to walk, climb stairs, and perform daily tasks safely.
-
Improved breathing and circulation: Upright posture allows for deeper breathing and better oxygen flow.
-
Confidence and energy: Standing tall and moving with strength promotes confidence and overall well-being.
